Ok, this is hopefully something that is only a "marketing thing" as it is the buzz at the moment. The illuminati, NWO and the Mayan propecy (search 2012 - Nibiru).
But after watching the trailer for Peter Jacksons new movie District 9 I instantly come to think of the apartheid system in South Africa (the movie irronicly takes place in Johannesburg - South Africa) but then I also tought about the Israel-Palestina conflict. Now, after watching this interview with Peter Jackson, I wonder if this is more then an "marketing thing". Is it only me and my lack of hearing or did he say "A shady organisation called Illiminu.."?

More things to get your "imagination" going bananas?
many of you have seen this, or probably heard about the movie. You know Megan Fox is in it and yeah she swims naked, she shows her cleavage, she got tied up and gagged.
Sounds like a fun movie to watch all by yourself, so sure I watched it just for the fun of it.
But.
And my mind might have gone way off, but doesn´t this movie have enough sublimital messages that a humanbeing possible can handle?
References to 9/11?
Muslims did it?
Fear god?
The devil is in it?
Illuminati?
I could go all day - sure some of us could go "all day" with Megan Fox. if you know what I mean.
So this is what I got out of the movie (beside the obvious things that "got" out of it)
"Some see this script as a feminine/lesbian thing since Jennifer and her "nerdy" friend has glasses and holding hands.
I rather say this movie is about puberty. Maby even confirmation.. Or the horror of coming into the puberty."

So, Jasmine is a female name, but, also Jasmine is a flower, and flowers do fold open when ready to..blossom.
Jasmine is also arabic and means "Gift from God"
So why are they talking so much about God anyway in this movie?"
"Needy loosing her virginity.
The scene mixes with Jennifers killing of a guy (we only see the reflection/shadow from that). Still it can be interpritated in the horror, enjoyment, fascination/exploring your true self and hope in loosing your virginity..and, yes the blod actually drips as it can when you loose your virginity."
"Diablo Cody, the writer of Juno and Jennifers body. Maby the answer is right there? On why the constant references to virginity, exploring your sexuality, Jesus, God...and the devil. Diablo is after all the spanish word for..Devil. And the obvious, the movie takes place in a small town called Devils kettle falls (Devils cattle falls). Wich could be translated to; The devils followers looses."
"Ahmet was the first victim. The guy from India you know. Well Ahmet is an arabic name..or muslim name if you want.
And he made his first scene shortely after Jennifer has got the 9/11 drink, shots, and she even says "The ones isn´t as big as the other" The twintowers wasn´t equaly big.."
"Finally; Lance Henriksen, you know he who faught The Illumminati as Frank Black in one of the best tv series ever; Millennium. So, more clues or simply just me overreacting?"
